Pokerstars Mobile?

A week ago I got an email from Pokerstars asking me to fill a survey. The survey was asking about my opinions of Pokerstars potentially being accessible on mobile devices. That's one weird topic to be conducting a survey on and this is why: only two months ago i had this exchange on Twitter with Stars:

I remember tweeting them after running desperately home to register for the WCOOP $1050 NLH event from a local cash game and missed the registration by about two minutes. Anyways, from the tweet I got from Stars, a mobile Pokerstars seems unlikely, yeah?
Not really. Today, I read this on Pokernews.com:

The largest online poker site may soon be coming to your phone. Yes, you read it right.PokerStars recently bought one of the leading mobile gaming software development companies, Cecure Gaming.

This year, the company struggled because of a "weak customer recruitment strategy in the difficult prevailing economic climate." When Cecure was established in 2000, the company received about $20 million to develop the "best and most secure mobile poker gaming technology in the world."

I'm getting very excited about the potential of all this. Imagine Pokerstars on the iPhone! However, I don't think all desktop features can be implemented on mobile. Here's my take (@Pokerstars if you're reading this, well, please keep reading):

- Play poker: the most popular feature of this mobile app is obviously to allow players to play poker. However, I also think this is the hardest feature for implementation. The variability in players' mobile hardware and internet connection would destroy the smoothness of the game. The mobile app can leave this out imo (until technology develops enough to warrant a smooth play);
- Transfer fund: this is probably be the most useful feature. Obviously there're plenty of associated security issues, but once Stars can work it out, it'll rock. No more trust issues among players in sending money for cash (in local currency). No more "send first and I'll pay you when I see it". Players can meet face to face and do the transfer on their mobile devices. Pure awesomeness.
- Register/unregister for a tournament: this is extremely useful as well. I personally had way too many incidents of running late to tournaments (WCOOP *ahem*) only to find that the registrations have closed. I've also had enough tournaments which I registered for but started when I was drunk in a club. This feature is relatively simple to implement but is so cool to have.
- Check for open tournaments/registered tournaments: this ties in with the feature above.
- Find a player: This is useful for knowing who's playing what, but not mandatory.

That's my take. In essence I'm asking Pokerstars to make a mobile poker software that doesn't allow the actual playing of poker. Am I crazy?
